Hot as Hell and loosing fitness by the day.
Lately I get 2 days of big boy riding a week and two days of Father/Son Riding a week. Great for the soul, but sucks for the legs. Oh Well, it could be a lot worse.
Logan got a new bike a few weeks back and he is loving it. Scott Scale RC Jr. is crazy light and well speced. It has a XT derailluer and cassette. My only complaint is the fork, but I do not know that there are many other options for a 24" wheel.
He likes his bike sooo much that all I hear about is going riding. We have been out to Harbison or Sesqui every weekend lately to get a few hours in. This past weekend I was cashing in a Father's Day token to go on a big boy ride when the Direct TV guy threw a wrench in the works. He was supposed to show up at 830, but did not get there until 1. Typical I guess. Somewhere during the install I mentioned going to FATS and Logan got it in his head we should go after the cable guy was gone. Not entirely a bad idea. We loaded up the car and by 4pm we were heading to FATS. We hit the trails at 6pm for 12 miles of bliss through the Brown Wave and the Skinny. This was his first time there and he hooped and hollered down Whooped D Dews. It was a great ride and we would have squeezed in The Great Wall if we had enough day light. We did not get back to the house until 10pm and all he wants to know is when he can get back there to ride the rest of the trails. Soon I hope.
