Not much riding been going on lately. Actually it is down to one day a week, and I do not see the light at the end of the tunnel. With the weather turning cold, Heather with child, the Holiday Season upon us, and soccer season still going it does not look good. Funny thing is that I am okay with it for right now. We did not get back into town until noon on Sunday, so I did not have enough time to make it to the race. I really wish I could have gone out and supported it. I will make it next time.
Last weekend we took the family to Clemson for Homecoming and we had a blast. Funny thing is that games are not what they used to be. I mean, they are that way for some people still, but they have totally changed for me. We were up by 7am, fed by 8am, tailgating by 10am and in the game by noon. We left the game at the 4th quater and went to the floats. After a long walk around campus the fam was ready to head back to the hotel and we were in our beds by 9pm.
10 years ago the same weekend would have went something like this.
Wake at 9am, Drink 5 beers, iron some clothes, call my date (it was still Heather), play some really loud music and party in the quad. Then we would make it to the game at noon, maybe stay till half time our until we ran out of drinks we smuggled in. Go back to the quad and eat some burgers, then we would party until 2-3am on Sunday. Those were the best of times, those were the worst of times...
Here are some picks from the weekend.
