Congaree National Park

Today we went the Congaree National Park. Here at the kids standing in front of Bald Cypress.

This picture is of a wild pig that we ran across on the boardwalk. We should have had a lot more pictures, except Heather flipped out when she saw it. As we were walking she noticed it first, she turns around with a paniced look on her face and whispers, "what do we do?". I respond, "How about take a picture". The first attempts were sad, and this last one is as the pig decides to cross our path. It was pretty cool to see so larger wild life while out in the forest.

Here is a pic of the inside of a tree.

Logan on a Cypress knee.

A forest of knees.

This is at the foot of one of the tallest trees in the South. It is a 260 year old Lollibee Pine that stands over 160 ft tall.

Looking up.
