The Season is upon us.

The race season has started for some and is getting started for others. This season I am going to focus on the endurance racing more than the sprints. We will see how it goes. First one of my season is going to be the Harbison Race to the River (Sprint). I may be the only one racing due to other races in the area. Next up is the Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventure Race. I dare to say the most fun and suffering I have ever had on a bike. This is not really a race because it is with a partner, but it is a personal challenge. It really is just an adventure. And with Jonathan riding the Drunken Monkey it is guaranteed to be fun. I hope we make it back before dark this year. 13 1/2 hours last year was rough. The rest are as follows:
Burn 24 (possibly solo)
Cowbell Challenge (Solo)
Issaqueena (Serc)
Off Road Assault on Mt. Mitchell (~7 hours)
Shenandoah 100 (Climax) I really want to do it in less than 10 hours.

Wish I could participate in the first annual Cinco De Marrington. It is an 8 hour race in Charleston SC. It should be a good time and it only cost $45 for solo. Unfortunately it is the same day as the PMBAR. Easy decision.

Cowbell are you going to run fully solo or do you have help coming up. I'm planning on racing the solo SS class fully solo. Not sure if I'm driving up that am or getting a hotel yet.

Sorry also going to the 12hr Tsali in two weeks if you want to try that. I'll be getting a room for friday night and saturday night. Running this one full solo also.
